Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 10, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how FinWeb (Wavestar Holdings LLC) uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) on this website.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. “Local storage” is a related browser technology used to remember preferences. Together they help sites function and, where enabled, measure usage.
2. How we use them
We take a privacy-first approach. By default, this site sets only strictly-necessary storage — specifically, a record of your cookie choice so we don’t ask again. We do not load analytics or marketing cookies unless you accept them in the consent banner.
Strictly necessary
- finweb-consent (local storage) — remembers whether you accepted or declined optional cookies. Persists until you clear it. No personal data; cannot be switched off.
Optional — only with your consent
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4) — runs in Google Consent Mode v2 with storage
denied by default. No analytics cookies (e.g.
_ga,_ga_*) are stored until you select “Accept all”; if you decline, analytics storage stays off. - Embedded scheduling (Calendly) — if we embed a booking calendar, it may set its own cookies. It loads only with your consent, or when you choose to visit Calendly to book a call.
3. Managing your choices
You can change your preference at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as intended.
4. Third-party cookies
Where you interact with embedded third-party services (for example, Calendly for scheduling, or our hosting/CDN provider for security), those parties may set their own cookies governed by their privacy and cookie policies.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
